Alligators are unfriendly,

They are easily upset,

I’d definitely be nervous

If I had one on my set.

Baby alligator made sports journalist Steve Burton do a freaked out dance adding another incident into the list of hilarious TV bloopers. The smart reptile seems to know that every Steve is not Steve Irvin but WBZ in Boston decided otherwise and the show segment with herpetologist Michael Ralbovsky on Sunday became more entertaining than their expectations.

During the taping of the show Sports Final, Steve was surprised by the presence of an alligator and a crocodile and this, every reporter who has nothing to do with wildlife will agree, is not a pleasant surprise.

As he held the gator in his hand, it started to squirm and Steve got into a thorny situation until Ralbovsky’s wife got hold of the animal. “I’m, I’m, I’m”, Steve kept repeating when the gator got out of control.

“See you later Alligator” is something the poor guy would never utter and neither would he ever say “In a while Crocodile” as according to him the alligator turned mad because of the crocodile. “It was a segment lasting 5 or 10 minutes and the gator didn’t want to be held anymore.”, commented Ralbovsky.

Steve shared with CBS Boston that how the gator’s strength startled him.”My life flashed before my eyes”, he wrote on Twitter. How he suppressed his natural urge to throw it on the floor deserves appreciation.
