The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States, and while it represents independence and freedom, a strange event took place today. As the world celebrates women’s day and women officially protest, the lights at the statue went out.

Since Donald Trump came in power, people have been talking about how he violates the basic meaning behind the Statue of Liberty. 

It looks like the Statue of Liberty wanted to participate in the march as well because every woman wants the world to know her real worth.
