The Power Rangers was undoubtedly one of the biggest TV shows on American televisions in the 90s. Children from all around the globe tuned in to watch this sensational TV show. And now the five Power Rangers are coming back to the big screen with the movie being released in 2017.

Yes, in 2017 a new movie for the Power Rangers is coming out, titled ‘The Power Rangers’. The movie consists of 5 power rangers, the cast contains; Dacre Montgomery as Red Ranger: Leader of the team. Naomi Scott as Pink Ranger, RJ Cyler as Blue Ranger, Becky G as Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as Black Ranger, Bryan Cranston as Zordon, Mentor to the Power Rangers.

The Power Rangers mainly consist of 5 members, the red, yellow, black, pink and blue ranger. It revolves around a team of youths recruited and trained by a mentor to morph into the mighty Power Rangers by using their powers to fight the forces of evil. When wringed, the rangers become powerful superheroes wearing different colored suits and helmets with visors; their powers are generally the same with the exception of their suits. Morphed Rangers possess superhuman strength, durability, and enhanced ability in hand-to-hand combat. In addition, each individual ranger has a unique weapon. Nearly all enemies grow to incredible size, Rangers utilize their combat machine guns that combine into a larger mega machine known as a Megazord.

The Rangers, with a few exceptions, obey a set of regulations, Power Rangers may not use their Ranger powers for personal gain or for escalating a fight, nor may the Power Rangers disclose their identities to the general public. The penalty for disobeying these rules, in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, is the loss of their power.

The movie is directed by Dean Israelite, produced by Haim Saban, Brian Casentini, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey and written by John Gatins, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, Kieran Mulroney, and Michele Mulroney.

This is the third feature film in the franchise after Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie (1995), Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie (1997).
