America is a diverse place, there are all sorts of people, all sorts of customs etc. There are a lot of things Americans do and refer as that the rest of the world can’t make any sense of. Like how they name their kids after food, or how they call rugby as football.
If you get defensive while going through the list, you sure are an American and if you just laugh at them you are rest of the world trying to understand why Americans do what they do or say what they say. America is a great country, we understand, but some of the things about them, we just don’t. Like at all.
